What is Precision Manufacturing A.A.S.?

EXPECTED HOURS FOR ENGINEERING SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY A.A.S. DEGREE: 61

This concentration is designed for those students interested in working in the fields of Subtractive/Additive Manufacturing, 3D Designing and Coordinate Measuring. This program incorporates the knowledge and skills needed to prepare the student for numerous job and career opportunities in their field.

This is a technical program designed to prepare students for employment and is not designed as a transfer program, although many institutions accept all or part of the coursework toward the bachelor’s degree.

What is CNC and Machine Design Technician Certificate?

EXPECTED HOURS FOR CERTIFICATE: 21

The CNC and Machine Design Technician Technical Certificate is designed to provide students with an effective blending of Machining/CNC programming, 3D modeling/printing and CMM quality control. Students who successfully complete the program will have the skills needed for immediate entrance into the workforce.

This certificate, embedded within the Precision Manufacturing Concentration: Engineering Systems Technology, A.A.S., is designed for those students interested in entering this field as a technician.

What Are My Options to Pay for This Degree?

Apply for financial aid at www.FAFSA.gov. A student is encouraged to apply early for financial aid and must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the FAFSA Renewal Application as soon as possible after October 1 to ensure that the Financial Aid Office receives the Institutional Student Information Record and other documents prior to the priority deadline. July 1st is the priority deadline for applying for the fall semester and December 1st for the spring semester.
